Options Centralite® CT Moving Laser System

PC Option
By adding a “PC” to the end of any of the system configurations, the system controller is configured with an integral single board computer. This provides networking capability to the moving laser system, allowing laser offset values to be retrieved directly from the treatment planning system over the network. This direct communication of laser positions is the most accurate, most efficient way to transfer data to the moving laser system.

Pedestal Mount Option
Moving laser actuators in the standard moving laser systems are equipped with mounting plates and brackets suitable for mounting the actuator to a flat mount plate on a wall or installed in a ceiling. An alternate for the lasers on either side of the CT couch is a Pedestal Mount Kit. The pedestal is a vertical, floor-mounted column to which either a moving laser actuator or a fixed laser can be mounted. The pedestal has an attractive, polished chrome finish. In the case of a pedestal mount, provisions must be made in the CT room to run the actuator cable from the base of the pedestal to the system controller.

  Angle Bracket Mount Option
In rooms where the walls are not parallel to the CT couch, an Angle Bracket Mount kit allows the moving laser actuator or the fixed lasers to be mounted at an angle relative to the wall, so that the laser lines are perpendicular to the CT couch length. The angle bracket mount is also desirable for installations where the X moving laser actuator is to be mounted towards the foot of the CT couch. This allows the moving laser actuator to be rotated so that the X laser line extends over the length of the CT couch. Angle bracket mount kits are provided as part of the standard five moving laser system for the two Y moving laser actuators.
