The Ludlum 2200 Scaler and Single Channel Analyzer (SCA) can be used with GM, scintillation, and proportional detectors. When used with a Well Counter, the 2200 becomes an excellent tool for performing wipe tests, Schilling tests, and other laboratory procedures.  The Scaler/Ratemeter can also be matched with the lead collimated Sample Holder and a Low Energy Gamma Scintillation Probe as a lower priced alternative for conducting wipe tests and general contamina-tion surveys.

The SCA allows you to set a wide open window for gross counting or set a narrow window to look for a specific isotope energy. The window is adjustable from 0 to 10.0 above threshold.

The 2200 includes a charge sensitive preamplifier, linear amplifier, electronic timer and detector high voltage power supply. Ten turn controls are supplied for threshold, window and high voltage.

The optional Auxiliary Shield can be used to surround the Well Counter in areas affected by high background activity. The Auxiliary Shield provides an additional .5” of lead shielding.
