The CAPRAC and CAPRAC-R Wipe/Well Counters offer speed, accuracy and all of the features found in systems costing significantly more. These compact systems perform well counting functions such as wipes and patient tests in as little as 6 seconds. The 6-channel pulse-height analyzer with energy discrimination provides excellent counting definition and flexibility using a NaI crystal detector and easy-to-follow menu programs.

Both CAPRACs perform auto-calibration and system QC, offer a selection of counting periods from 6 to 1800 seconds and allow manual or automatic background sub-traction. The CAPRAC-R includes built-in software for Schilling tests, Dicopac® and Blood Volume analysis.

Hard copy records of all data and photon energy histograms can be obtained using the optional CAPRAC printer. Patient tests are calculated and printed, giving full information of all counting information plus formulas used.

Optional Auxiliary Shields can be used to surround the CAPRAC detector in areas affected by high background activity. Standard Auxiliary Shields provide an additional .5” of shielding; PET Auxiliary Shields provide an additional 1” of shielding.
