Patient comfort during a thyroid procedure is essential in preventing movement which could result in an inferior scan or questionable thyroid uptake results. The Thyroid Imaging Chair offers a comfortable alternative to the straight-backed office chair often used for thyroid uptakes. The chair can be height adjusted for comfortable positioning. The optional leg rest is also adjustable. The chair's arms are at a comfortable height and can be folded out of the way for easy patient access. The backrest and headrest can be tilted back. The headrest's range of movement allows your patient's head to drop back far enough to extend the neck for unobstructed imaging and counting of the thyroid gland. The chair has an easy-to-clean vinyl cover. |
