• 1024 Multi-Channel Analyzer with a 2" x 2" NaI (Tl) detector. Maximum count rate 100,000 cps; ROIs automatic  or manual; preset live time, real time and total counts; automatic peak finding; software controlled lower level discriminator.
  
  
• Thyroid Uptake - Allows entry of patient demographics and procedure protocol. A standard capsule can be measured at each uptake or automatically decay corrected by the software. Number of uptakes performed on patients is user defined with software calculation of each uptake and hard disk storage or print out in report form.
  
  
• Wipe Test Counting - System performs peak search on each wipe, identifying any contam- ination by peak and nuclide. Unlimited wipes may be grouped by location. Trigger levels may be selected or set a user-specified limit to flag wipes above a specific activity.
  
  
• Quality Control - Includes zero adjust,  automatic gain adjust, detector energy calibration  resolution, chi-square, constancy, minimum detectable activity and automatic efficiency calculation and storage.
  
  
• Bioassay - Allows for counting of personnel with only one neck count. Staff records are maintained and archived on the hard drive and/or through printed records.

The Captus 3000 software program includes Thyroid Uptake, Wipe Testing, Bioassay, Schillings, Dicopac®, Blood Volume, and RBC Survival testing. The entire program has "fly over" control bars to allow quick access to whatever function is necessary.

The versatile 1024 multi-channel analyzer (MCA) allows measure-ments of energies up to 2 MeV and has an isotope selection library with over 90 isotopes and adjustable ROI's for easily reproducible counting parameters.

Quality control is completely automated. With the use of the two included rod sources (Cs-137 and Eu-152), the system will move from calibration to constancy to chi-square with limited time and effort. The Captus 3000 software has been designed to get you up and running quickly. The program contains a "Quick-Start" feature that walks the user through all of the initial setup functions and serves as an
excellent teaching tool.

Choose between a Mobile Floor Stand (shown), Table Top Stand, or Wall Mounted Thyroid Uptake System. The Table Top Stand is an alternative to the floor stand when space is at a premium. For limited spaces, the wall mount system is designed for maximum mobility of the thyroid probe’s articulating arm.

An optional Well Counter for wipe test counting completes the system. The Well Counter is available with either 1" or 2" lead shielding.
