PIN-TEC™ Beta Syringe Shield

The lightweight Pin-Tec Beta Syringe Shield has a push clip for one-handed release. Its pin-action grips the syringe and prevents it from inadvertently backing out or twisting in the shield. The pins self-sharpen for long life and holding power. The 2.2 mm thick tungsten alloy wall of the shield provides for maximum technologist protection.

Zevalin™ Y-90 Syringe Shield

The Zevalin™ Y-90 Syringe Shield reduces hand exposure from syringes containing this beta emitting radiopharmaceutical. When the prepared dose is shipped, the 10 cc syringe shield is used to draw for administration. The barrel of the syringe shield is constructed of .375" clear plastic with an .062" thick embedded lead lining. The lead lining is interrupted at the viewing window for clear visibility when drawing and administering the dose. A thumb screw holds syringes firmly in place.
