Table Top "L" Shields provide radiation protection while drawing doses, preparing kits, eluting generators or performing general hot lab tasks. The shields resist tipping and incorporate shielding overlap. A wide variety of available sizes allows you to choose the most appropriate "L" Shield for your department.

The front walls of the shields are constructed of lead to protect the torso. A lead glass window allows unimpaired viewing of the work area. An optional second lead glass window provides additional protection.

Most “L” shields (10” wide or more) can be custom ordered with an optional extended base. An opening is cut into the extended base to allow access to your dose calibrator’s remote ionization chamber (if located below the surface of your tabletop) to provide additional radiation protection.
