The front walls of the Table Top "L" Shields are constructed of lead to protect the torso. A lead glass window allows unimpaired viewing of the work area. An optional second lead glass window provides additional protection.
Most “L” shields (10” wide or more) can be custom ordered with an optional extended base. An opening is cut into the extended base to allow access to your dose calibrator’s remote ionization chamber (if located below the surface of your tabletop) to provide additional radiation protection.
