The JRT PET Stainless Steel L-Block Shield features a large 8" x 8" x 4" lead glass window and 2” of lead shielding. This shield has a recessed hole cutout for a PET Dose Calibrator and a 1” lead “drop-down” chamber shield. An optional custom designed Lead Brick Cave, constructed of 2” thick painted interlocking lead bricks, surrounds the L-Block Shield to provide additional radiation protection. There is no exposed lead in either the L-Block shield or Lead Brick Cave. The simplified design of this Stainless Steel L-Block Shield makes it easy to assemble at your facility.
