Lead-Lined Stand-Alone Hot Lab

This armoir-style Hot Lab and Workstation has 1/8” lead on all six sides below the countertop and includes a flood source storage area. Lower compartments, middle drawer fronts and countertops are all shielded. Flood source storage area has 3/4" lead shielding. The upper storage compartment and doors do not have lead shielding.

The Stand Alone Hot Lab provides a convenient space saving shelf for your dose calibrator control unit. Upon request, a hole can be cut into the countertop to “drop” your dose calibrator’s ionization chamber to a shelf below the surface. Drawers and doors are key-locked with heavy duty hardware to prevent unauthorized access. Interior fluorescent light and electrical plug strip are included. Corian or stainless steel countertops are available. Shipped completely assembled.

Lead-Lined Hot Lab Cabinet Work Station

These 30” deep Hot Lab Cabinet/ Workstations provide you with all the cabinet components you need in one attractive set up, making them an ideal replacement for a “hot lab.” The cabinet walls (including top and bottom) have 0.25” lead shielding sandwiched between plywood and mica surfaces. Flood source storage area has 3/4" lead shielding.    

Depending on the model you select, the cabinets include decay drawers, dose storage drawers, a high energy storage compartment and a flood phantom compartment. Located within the high energy storage compartment is a pull-out syringe storage drawer. An optional recessed and shielded compartment into which you can “drop” your dose calibrator ionization chamber is available. This Hot Lab Cabinet has a 4” backsplash and a mica laminate countertop.
