The .25” lead shielded Preparation Enclosure is counter-mounted and designed to fit on the Preparation Enclosure Base Cabinet. For additional protection, the hood's opening has an adjustable 12" wide shield with .5" lead shielding.

The Preparation Enclosure's large interior (31" w x 19" d) has a 34.5" w x 11.8" h x .75" thick lead glass viewing panel, providing safe and unobstructed viewing for all procedures.

Gaseous radiopharmaceuticals are emitted through a rear baffle with a fixed open upper exhaust slot and adjustable lower exhaust slot. The 6" diameter stainless steel chimney with fixed upper and adjustable lower baffles, connects to external ductwork and an exhaust motor. Blower and filter are not included. Can be used with the Preparation Enclosure Base Cabinet.

Radioiodine Fume Hood

The Radioiodine Fume Hood meets the demands of iodination procedures. Constructed of 3/8" clear, rugged plexiglass, the fume hood provides a large internal work area with spacious arm ports to allow maximum uninhibited manipulation of material within the unit. A swing-away front door permits easy placement and retrieval of items.

The air baffle assures even flow speed of air out of the box while negative air flow speed can be adjusted from 0 to a maximum of 60 CFM. The Fume Hood includes a 12" x 12" x 1" disposable charcoal filter that traps 90% of the radioiodine produced and can accommodate two filters if needed.
