The Model 797 Dose Dispensing Hood is designed to economically assist nuclear medicine departments with compliance with USP General Chapter <797> Pharmaceutical Compounding – Sterile Preparations. The ultra-compact table top Dose Dispensing Hood provides an ISO Class 5 (old Class 100) environment and is designed to fit around the Standard Table Top L-Shield 042-216 and Mini Table Top L- Shield 042-016 (sold separately). The Dose Dispensing Hood is constructed of stainless steel with clear polycarbonate sides. Each side has an ample hole for easy hand insertion. The sides are hinged on the bottom and fold down to allow easy cleaning of the hood. The hood includes a top-mounted HEPA filter and fan assembly to provide the ISO Class 5 environment. Air is exhausted via openings in the front, back and sides. The Model 797 Dose Dispensing Hood can be constructed to accommodate any size L-block shield additional lead shielding is available. A rear-mounted light is optional. (Light switch is needed with Lead Shielding. Add 4” to depth with Light Switch.) NOTE: Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled and the item cannot be returned for credit. 797-MT Model 797 Dose Dispensing Hood for Mini L-Block 042-016, 13”W x 18”D x 21 ½” H, 33 lb.
