ECT Elliptical Lung-Spine Phantom

The Elliptical Lung-Spine Body Phantom is used for evaluation of acquisition and reconstruction methods for cardiac and lung ECT studies. It can also be used for
evaluation of non-uniform attenuation and scatter compensation methods.

The phantom includes spine and fillable lung inserts. The lung inserts can be filled with Styrofoam® beads and water to simulate lung tissue density (Lung-Spine Phantom Lid™ ECT/LUNG/I.) It can also be used with the optional Cardiac Insert (ECT/CAR/I) or Fillable Spine Insert (ECT/FL-SPINE/I). When used with the body contour rings, the upper torso of a small (~ 30 x 22 cm) patient is simulated.
