The Codonics Horizon Color Printer is three imagers in one - a dry film imager, a color imager and a grayscale paper imager. Switching among film, color and paper requires no operator intervention. Its small footprint easily allows it to be placed on a desk, counter, or used in mobile applications. Requiring less than two feet of desk space and weighing less than 70 pounds, the Codonics Horizon Color Printer delivers superior diagnostic quality images and versatility. Its multiple media features make Horizon the ideal choice for different modalities or a multiple modality department.

Horizon’s patented imaging technology outputs diagnostic film and paper providing versatility and high image quality. Its 4,096 shades of gray and high resolution 320 dpi thermal head technology, coupled with its ability to achieve maximum density ratings, contribute to accurate patient diagnosis.

The Codonics Horizon Color Printer delivers reliable, consistent images with no compromise in image quality. Horizon can have up to 12 simultaneous DICOM associations and is PostScript compatible. It offers plug-and-play simplicity with the ability to connect directly to a modality, network or PACS system. Because Horizon requires no operator intervention to go from film to color printing, one Horizon can easily handle multiple departments where there is a requirement for film, color and grayscale printing. Holds up to 300 sheets of film.
