Mammographic Phantoms

Mammographic Accreditation Phantom

Mammographic
ACR Accreditation Phantom

The Mammographic Accreditation Phantom has been the #1 phantom listed by the ACR since the start of the MQSA program in 1994. The phantom provides the physical standard baseline for assuring the quality of the images produced by your mammographic system.

Stereotactic Mammographic
ACR Accreditation Phantom

The 156D Stereotactic Mammographic ACR Accreditation Phantom is used for monitoring digital mammography systems currently used for stereotactic biopsy and localization.

Digital Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Accreditation Phantom

Digital Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Accreditation Phantom

The Digital Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Accreditation Phantom permits fast, easy comparison of conventional and digital image quality in a single exposure. The objects are some of those found in the Mammographic Accreditation Phantom specified by the ACR, so it makes comparison of the two imaging systems easy.

Single Exposure High Contrast Resolution Phantom

Single-Exposure High Contrast Resolution Phantom

The Single-Exposure High Contrast Resolution Phantom performs quality control inspections of mammography system resolution with just one exposure. Easy-to-use, and cost-effective, it meets ACR guidelines and MQSA requirements.

Special High Contrast Resolution Phantom

Special High Contrast Resolution Phantom

The Special High Contrast Resolution Phantom incorporates a 17.5 micron thick gold-nickel alloy bar pattern. Each bar pattern is positioned at 90 degrees to allow assessment of resolution perpendicular and parallel to anode-cathode axis in just one exposure. The 016B high resolution target has 18 segments from 5 lp to 28 lp/mm. The target is equivalent to 25 microns of lead or 2.6 mm of aluminum at 20 keV.

Digital Mammography Phantoms

Digital Mammography Phantoms

Digital Mammography Phantoms are tissue equivalent test tools that include: Digital Step Wedge Phantom, Full Field Phantom, Small Field Phantom, and High Contrast Phantom.

Full Field Digital Phantom

Full Field Digital Phantom

The Full Field Digital Phantom is specifically designed for assessment of digital system resolution and verification of CCD stitching. This phantom provides a series of L-shaped line pair targets from 4 to 12 line pair per mm. These targets are contiguously positioned to cover an 18 cm x 24 cm area at midplane in a 1 cm thick tissue equivalent slab.

Mammography QC Package

Mammography Quality Control Package

The Mammography Quality Control Package has the tools a technologist needs to implement a comprehensive quality control program and insure their department is producing the best possible images and diagnostic information.

Tissue Equivalent Mammography Phantom

Tissue-Equivalent Mammography Phantom

The Tissue-Equivalent Mammography Phantom is 4.5 cm thick, simulates a 50% glandular tissue composition and is designed to test the performance of a mammographic system by a quantitative evaluation of the system’s ability to image small structures similar to those found clinically.

Mammography Phototimer Consistency Testing Slabs

Mammography Phototimer Consistency Testing Slabs

The Phototimer Consistency Testing Slabs are designed for precise assessment of AEC system performance in accordance with American College of Radiology and MQSA recommendations. BR-12 (47% glandular / 53% adipose) is most commonly used but other glandular equivalencies are available.

Contrast and Resolution Mammography Phantom

Contrast and Resolution Mammography Phantom

The Contrast and Resolution Mammography Phantom measures the contrast and dynamic range of the imaging system. It also measures the system resolution of the focal spot length and width on mammography units (with optional Resolution Test Pattern.)

Mammography Contrast Detail Phantom

Contrast Detail Phantom

The Mammography Contrast Detail Phantom is designed to provide a means of quantitatively testing and monitoring the total performance of an entire mammographic imaging chain. Its small size, as well as the number and distribution of holes simulating embedded objects, make this phantom particularly useful in evaluating digital spot mammography systems.

Mammographic Contrast Detail Phantom

Contrast Detail Mammography Phantom

The Contrast Detail Mammography Phantom is specifically developed to determine if mammographic images are indicating objects with very low contrast and very small diameter. Designed for full-field analog and digital units.

Rachel Anthropomorphic Breast Phantom

“Rachel” Anthropomorphic
Breast Phantom

The “Rachel” Anthropomorphic Breast Phantom produces an image with the contrast range and details found on a clinical mammogram. This phantom may be used for evaluation of effects of changing mammographic imaging parameters such as machines, machine settings, film/screen combinations, and digital image processing.

Mammography Research Set

Mammography Research Set

The Mammography Research Set includes tissue equivalent phantoms 4, 5 and 6 cm thick. Each phantom contains identical embedded details. The glandular content of each phantom is 50%, 30%, and 20% respectively. Also included are phototimer compensation plates enabling a range of thickness from 0.5 cm to 7 cm with a glandular content of 30%, 50% and 70%.

Mammography BR3D Phantom

Mammography BR3D Phantom

The Mammography BR3D Phantom is designed to assess detectability of various size lesions within a tissue equivalent, complex, heterogeneous background. This phantom provides more realistic challenges for standard screen and FFDM mammography systems as well as Tomosynthesis and breast Computed Tomography.
