| This course is designed to provide the required training for Inland and Coastal Vessel and Facility Crews in accordance with the new U.S.C.G. Maritime Security Regulations 33 CFR 104.220, 104.225, 105.210, & 105.215 as well as the AWO Alternative Security Plan.
The training explains MARSEC security levels and the vessel security plan. You will learn how to recognize and detect suspicious individuals, activities, substances, and devices, and then be presented with procedures to use when dealing with those issues. Other topics include managing sensitive security information, understanding terrorist tactics, and recognizing and detecting dangerous substances . |
