The optional Windows™ software can be used
to configure and calibrate either of the two ASP-2 models. This
easy-to-use program operates on any IBM compatible machine
running Windows 95 or higher operating systems. This option
requires Cable CA-104-60 to link the instrument to the PC.
Three password levels allow larger institutions to control access to
critical calibration factors, while allowing users to reconfigure the
instrument to suit their preferences or to suit a given task.
Configuration and calibration are categorized into three basic levels
to accommodate the instrument, the probe and the operating
channels.
The PC software makes calibration easy, by automatically
determining the proper high voltage and calibration constant. A
number of utility functions also check the battery status, program
version or download default values.
Accessories
A full range of GM, scintillation, and
proportional probes, detector cables, check sources and probe
holders are available for use with ASP2/2e. The ASP2/2e is also offered with the
SPA-8 as a μR Meter and with the NRD as a Neutron Rem Meter.
Separate data sheets describing these products are available.
