Standard Decontamination Kit

This Decontamination Kit contains all the equipment needed to cope with a radioactive spill or routine decontamination problem in the laboratory. The drum serves as a container for the kit components and as a waste transfer and storage vessel.
The kit includes (1) 30 gallon fiber drum,
(2 prs.) large coveralls, (2 prs.) shoe covers, (2) respirators,(4) filters, (2 prs.) gloves, (1 gal.) Radiacwash,
(1 box), Radiacwash Towelettes, (1 liter btl.) Radiacwash Spray Mist, (10) Poly Bags, (1) 12” Niptongs, (1 ea.) sponge, mop, scrub brush, pail, rope, and assorted signs.

This Mini Decontamination Kit includes a
5 gallon bucket that contains all of the supplies needed to deal with a radioactive spill in a nuclear medicine lab.
Kit includes
(1) 5 gallon pail, (1) sponge, (1) scrub brush, (2 prs.) large overalls, (5 prs.) shoe covers, (100) disposable gloves, (1 liter
btl.) Radiacwash Spray Mist, (100) Radiacwash Towelettes, (1) 12” Niptongs, (1 roll) warning tape, (20) Warning Labels,
(5) 8" x 10" Cardboard Warning Signs, and (20) Polyliners.

Minor Decontamination Kit

The Minor Spill Decontamination Kit is based on the suggested contents described in NRC Regulation Guide 10.8, Revision 2 “Medical Use Programs,” Appendix J “Medical Spill Procedures.
This kit includes (6 prs.) disposable gloves, (1 pr.) housekeeping gloves, (2) disposable lab coats, (2) paper hats, (2 pr.) disposable shoe covers, (1) roll absorbent paper, (6) yellow plastic bag liners with twist ties, (1) roll “Caution Radioactive” tape, (1) pencil, (1) black pen, (3) “Caution Radioactive Materials” prestrung tags, (10) sets of supplies for contamination smear samples, (1) clip board, and instructions for emergency procedures.
